Free legal assistance available on Tuesday -
Low-income residents can get free legal assistance on civil matters from an attorney 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday at Maring-Hunt Library, 2005 S. High St.
Indiana Legal Services sends an attorney to Muncie twice each month to offer free assistance.
No appointment is necessary.
To be eligible for services, a person must have a household income that is less than 125 percent of the federal poverty income level, meaning an income of $13,000 for a one-person household or an income of $26,500 for a four-person household.
